What makes Virus® fabrics different from other athletic apparel?
Virus® creates its own yarn, fabric, and apparel in-house by infusing proprietary technologies (Bioceramic™, CoolJade™, EcoNuve™, Magmatic Thermal™) directly into yarn at the molecular level. This means performance benefits can never wash out—unlike topical treatments that fade over time.
We make our own yarn, fabric and apparel in house. Virus® creates apparel by fusing two key components: technology elements and fabric elements.
Can you explain each Virus® fabric technology in detail?
Virus® uses four core technologies: Bioceramic™ (far-infrared for recovery), CoolJade™ (jade mineral cooling up to 10°F), EcoNuve™ (recycled bottle sustainability), and Magmatic Thermal™ (volcanic mineral warmth). Each is infused at the yarn level for permanent performance.
Which Virus® fabric should I choose for my training?
For hot weather, choose CoolJade™or Hydro. For recovery and compression, select Bioceramic™or BioPoly. For sustainability, pick EcoNuve™. For cold weather, go with Magmatic Thermal or BioFleece. For yoga or all-day comfort, choose Everform.
What do the Virus® fabric names mean?
Each fabric name indicates its technology and purpose: "Bio" prefix means Bioceramic™-infused (BioPoly, BioFlex, BioFleece). Hydro uses CoolJade™ for cooling. FormFlex and AirFlex are woven for structure. EcoNuve™ is sustainable recycled fabric. Everform is non-compression "second-skin" material.
What materials and construction methods does Virus® use?
Virus® uses knit construction for stretch and comfort (compression wear, base layers) and woven construction for structure and durability (shorts, outerwear). Primary materials include polyester, nylon, spandex, cotton, and recycled materials—all infused with proprietary technologies.
